Patios
On-grade outdoor rooms — concrete, stone, and the transitions that meet the house.

Overview
A patio is not a short deck. It sits on grade: a poured slab, unit pavers, or stone, detailed to the house so water and frost do not wreck the first winter. We build residential patios as part of outdoor living — next to a deck, a driveway, or a kitchen walk-out — and we will say when the right answer is a raised deck instead. Light-commercial terraces are quoted from use, not a backyard photo.
Who it is for
Homeowners replacing a failed pad or adding a place to sit that is not a lawn. Residential builders who want the hardscape in the same contract as the house. Anyone who has been sold a “patio” that is actually a thin slab on dirt.
